How to Switch From Linktree: A Practical Migration Checklist
Moving from Linktree? Follow this checklist to inventory your links, build a replacement page, update your profiles, and check that visitors can reach you.

Switching from Linktree involves more than building a replacement page. You also need to find the places where you shared your old address and check that the new page sends visitors to the right destinations.
Use this checklist to make the move in manageable steps.
1. Record your current links
Create a simple inventory with four columns: link label, destination URL, purpose, and whether to keep it.
Include your contact information, newsletter, important content, product links, and any active campaigns. Open every destination while reviewing it. Moving is a useful opportunity to remove expired offers and replace vague labels.
Keep a copy of the original inventory so you can check whether anything important was missed.
2. Build the replacement around your current priorities
Decide what belongs at the top before copying your old order. A past campaign may have been your priority when you created the page, but it may no longer be relevant.
For a product-focused page, group related recommendations around recognizable topics. Lunera supports product photos, notes, and collections, which you can manage from its iOS app. Explore the Lunera workflow.
Start with a small, complete page. You can add older content after the main destinations are working.
3. Test before changing your bio
Open the new public page in a browser where you are not signed in. Check that a visitor can read the labels, see the images, and open each destination.
For affiliate links, preserve the original destination URLs carefully. Also confirm that the new page is a permitted placement under the relevant program’s current rules.
Ask someone else to find one item without instructions. Their experience can reveal labels or grouping choices that seemed obvious to you.
4. Update the places you control
Replace the old address in your social profiles, website, email signature, and reusable content templates. Then check older resources such as video descriptions or downloadable guides that people still visit.
If you have printed a QR code, test where it leads. Editing your social bio does not change the address encoded in that QR code.
5. Keep a transition path where possible
Avoid deleting the old page immediately. If you can still edit it, consider placing a clear link to your new page near the top. This gives people arriving through older references a way to continue.
Track which references have been updated and review the new page again after sharing fresh content. Click totals can be a useful signal, but they do not by themselves prove a sale or successful inquiry.
